Eileen serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships & Operations for TreePeople’s Community Forestry Department. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy and formal education in Native American Studies and Geology from Humboldt State University. Before joining TreePeople, Eileen worked in collaboration with Blue Lake Rancheria tribal members on the installation of alternative energy solutions and the cultivation of native foods, initiatives aimed at strengthening community resilience in the face of climate change. In 2017, she joined TreePeople’s Forestry Department, where she managed urban tree planting projects throughout Los Angeles County. Eileen currently leverages her hands-on experience in community forestry to strengthen department operations and foster collaborative partnerships that aligns with TreePeople’s mission.
