Generation Earth

Working alongside middle and high school educators in Los Angeles County to help students explore environmental topics in the classroom and beyond.

Generation Earth is an environmental education program dedicated to helping students explore waste, water and forestry topics in a fun and engaging way. After hearing from many students about their concerns around climate change, drought, pollution and wildfire, we understand their level of distress and desire to take action. We also know how powerful local actions taken by youth can be, which is why our environmental action projects foster creative, forward-thinking solutions to environmental challenges.

The Generation Earth team can bring a variety of environmental topics into your school today. Our projects range in size and scope based on the needs of the students and teachers involved and can be completed in a single day or last several months. One project may include a lesson on environmental advocacy with a corresponding letter-writing campaign, another may involve spending several weeks planning and setting up a school recycling program. We can help you organize a community cleanup, a campus water audit, help establish a school composting program and much more. We even have a free bus program to take you and your students on an environmental field trip.
